God Speaks Through Circumstances
God Speaks Through Circumstances!
An Inspirational Devotion From Pastor Brian
May 29, 2025
Have you ever asked God for direction and found yourself facing two good options? Maybe both doors looked promising, but you did not want to settle for good. You wanted God's best. That is where learning to hear God's voice through circumstances becomes so important.
God speaks in many ways. He speaks through His Word, through the Holy Spirit, and through godly people. But He also speaks through our life situations. When making a decision, we should always pray for God to open the right door and close the wrong one.
An open door may be God showing you the next step. A closed door may be God protecting you from something you cannot see yet. It is not always easy. Sometimes we want something so badly that a closed door feels like a setback. But remember, God sees what we cannot. He knows the future and what lies beyond each door.
When you ask God to guide you, trust that He will. Pray for clarity. Ask Him to direct your steps. And believe that whether the door opens or closes, He is leading you into His perfect plan for your life.
Until next time, remember to take time out for God, because God always has time for you!
Sticky Statement:
Open doors lead us forward. Closed doors keep us safe.
Questions To Think About
Prayer For Today:
"Lord, I thank You that You are in control of my life. I ask for Your guidance and direction today. Open the doors that are in Your will for me, and close the ones that are not. Help me trust You, even when I do not understand. I believe You are leading me toward what is best. In Jesus' name, amen."

Questions To Think About
- Have I prayed and asked God for clarity in this decision?
- Am I willing to trust God's answer even if it means letting go of what I want?
- Can I see how a past closed door was actually God's protection?
